Folding Mattresses: Value & Long-Term Durability

Comparing initial cost vs. longevity: high-density cold foam and washable covers last for years without sagging.

Key Considerations Before Buying

1. Sleeping Area & Available Space

Measure the length and width needed when fully unfolded. For a single adult, 90 × 200 cm is the proven standard. For extra comfort, 120 × 200 cm or 140 × 200 cm provides generous room.

2. Foam Quality & Orthopedic Support

The 12 cm thick shogazi® TRAVEL consists of premium orthopedic cold foam with a medium-firm feel and high density (~38 kg/m³). It provides point-elastic support for spine, hips, and shoulders without bottoming out.

3. Easy Care & Hygiene

The 100% natural cotton cover is fully removable with a robust zipper and machine-washable at 40 °C – ideal for frequent use and allergy sufferers.

4. Compact Storage Dimensions

The 3-piece folding construction folds smoothly into a compact cube (approx. 66 cm segment length, 36 cm stack height). Fits easily into car trunks, wardrobes, or storage corners.
